Very interesting sound Shiru. Don't think I've every heard volume increases that smooth in a 1-bit engine before !

Ooh yeeeeeeees !

Something new again. Love the mix of noise and PFM, I could have some great fun with this, it's got lots of potential.

Look forward to the Bintracker implementation smile

Cheers utz

Great to see you writing new engines again smile

Nice sound on this one, good bass and the drums are a nice volume too.

Any chance of implementing into Bintracker?

Looks like it would be a good engine to experiment with !

Wow thanks for sharing. I'll read your paper when I get a chance.

Really enjoyed your track, particularly the vibrato parts. You don't hear that very often in 1-bit music

A new raw version of my Spectronica album is free to download.
6 of the tracks reworked with overdubbed speech removed and a new loading track.

Download it free here:

Wow, excellent work. The Octode tune in particular I think sounds great.

Not sure if the song ripper in beepola works for huby but it certainly does for qchan, tritone and phaser 1.
Have you tried porting the qchan engine? There are masses of great tunes in battle of the bits that can be downloaded and the song file extracted. Also on chipmusic.org

Anyway, welcome aboard. It's great to hear your enthusiasm for 1-bit. Let us know of any new tunes you get running smile

Would be interesting to compose with a new mono 1-bit ZX Beeper engine. I still have a go with Rombeep sometimes but that doesn't allow low octave notes (through beepola)

Great album Shiru. I've listened to it quite a bit. It's surprising how addictive this type of monophonic music is !

Great compositions and I don't think I've ever heard drum sounds like that from PC Speaker mono tunes before   smile

Great album from the master of Savage.

Love the border FX and pulsing title graphic too, my favourite track is 'DECAF' so far as I like the FX in it.

Congrats AER  smile

Wow thanks a lot guys. A very unexpected win.

Glad people liked my track, there were some excellent tracks again this year and a  great turnout for Beeper big_smile

Most of the credit for my track goes to the excellent (and very underused) phaser 3 engine by shiru. I love the drums and low phased synth sound on it.

Wow that is excellent smile

The most original thing I've seen done with 1-bit ZX Beeper for a long time!

Love the qchan bits.

So was it a completely new 'live performance' engine or pre made sections/chords played on certain key presses ?

Hi uglifruit. Welcome to the forum smile

I've just listened to your musical. Wow some great work, particularly like 'I could be a paperboy' and 'in space'.

Also great to hear some 1-bit speccy music used in the 1st track smile
