I use 1tracker for phaser 3 composing
My real Spectrum 48k recording of the title tune has now been uploaded to yt
Pi-Dentity has just been released for the speccy.
Includes my phaser 3 beeper track and huby jingles.
Free download from the Fusion site and also will be on the spectrum computing archive soon.
Physical tape release soon too.
Never replied to this. Thanks a lot mate.
I've always been spurred on by trying to compete with yours and Mister Beeps releases. It seems people are still trying hard with 1-bit beeper tracks, the entries in this year's BOTB Winterchip were all great, one of the strongest categories I thought.
Thanks XoRRoX
I enjoyed making these tracks, adding voice samples into Phaser 3 is great fun.
First time I've made anything with Huby too.
The simple Manic Miner engine has now been implemented into the AGD spectrum game creator application so there will probably be a few new 48K games using it for ingame music. Very nostalgic for those of us that remember it first being used in Manic Miner and Jetset Willy in the early 80s.
I've just recorded the beeper music I made for the Moritz The Striker 48k Spectrum game.
Some tracks recorded from the new Spectrum Next and some from my 48k Speccy.

Hi
I've just re-released my Raw Spectronica album with new recordings of some of the tracks and an additional 4 tracks.
3 of the new tracks were recorded from the new ZX Spectrum Next computer.

Free download (just click on buy digital album and enter zero)
There's a CD too for any speccy/chiptune collectors out there
Utz's excellent squat engine Dihalt track 'Forward to Infinity' has now been uploaded to YouTube
Very interesting sound utz
The Spectrum User YT channel has uploaded a fuse recording of my Radio In The Rain tune (written using utz's brilliant zbmod2 digital engine).
The track name was chosen after a friend in the US said that's what the sound reminded him of.
It is currently competing in this years BOTB Winterchip compo.
Hi
Just downloaded a bunch of amazing games in the coding compo:
One amazing game called 'Valley of Rains' has a great beeper title track.
At first I thought it was SFX but on closer listen the synth sounds more like a Follin engine and the drums are different to SFX.
Any ideas?
Maybe one of Shiru's new 1tracker engines (Buzz click) or a follin engine with drums added ?
Hi Pedro
Welcome aboard. Great to see you here
When you've finished with beepola it's time to explore the truly amazing new engines in 1tracker and Bintracker written by Shiru and utz.
All the links are available in the forum. Everyone is a fan of AY stuff too.
Love your Mike the guitar qchan track
Very interesting sound Shiru. Don't think I've every heard volume increases that smooth in a 1-bit engine before !
Ooh yeeeeeeees !
Something new again. Love the mix of noise and PFM, I could have some great fun with this, it's got lots of potential.
Look forward to the Bintracker implementation
Just watched the vid
Great set, really enjoyed it.
Why not list the tracks played?
Cheers utz
Great to see you writing new engines again
Nice sound on this one, good bass and the drums are a nice volume too.
Any chance of implementing into Bintracker?
Looks like it would be a good engine to experiment with !
Found this on YouTube:
Check out the triangle and saw tooth output from Pytha !
Wow thanks for sharing. I'll read your paper when I get a chance.
Really enjoyed your track, particularly the vibrato parts. You don't hear that very often in 1-bit music
Yerzmyey has just released his new chiptune album with some great live performances. Check it out here:
A new raw version of my Spectronica album is free to download.
6 of the tracks reworked with overdubbed speech removed and a new loading track.
Download it free here:
Wow, excellent work. The Octode tune in particular I think sounds great.
Not sure if the song ripper in beepola works for huby but it certainly does for qchan, tritone and phaser 1.
Have you tried porting the qchan engine? There are masses of great tunes in battle of the bits that can be downloaded and the song file extracted. Also on chipmusic.org
Anyway, welcome aboard. It's great to hear your enthusiasm for 1-bit. Let us know of any new tunes you get running
Hi guys
RVG have written a review of my latest beeper album. It's here if anyone wants to view it
Would be interesting to compose with a new mono 1-bit ZX Beeper engine. I still have a go with Rombeep sometimes but that doesn't allow low octave notes (through beepola)
Great album Shiru. I've listened to it quite a bit. It's surprising how addictive this type of monophonic music is !
Great compositions and I don't think I've ever heard drum sounds like that from PC Speaker mono tunes before
Congrats guys, both great tracks.
Well done utz on the win.
