Hi Shiru
Just seen this new speccy game on youtube.
Notice you've converted the great PET tunes.
Did you write a new engine for this?
Cheers

Wow sounded like a massive amount of work to get all the tunes to fit into 48k
Very impressive work.
For my 'On and Off' .tap I didn't even bother to try and get them to fit. Beeperman and Radio in the Rain are 32kb each !
I just had a multi-load .tap and assumed someone would make a .trd version
Excellent stuff Shiru, downloaded from Bandcamp the second I saw you’d released it.
My favs are Geostorm closely followed by High Orbit
Fantastic news. Thanks Shiru
Well done Shiru, well deserved win and both excellent tracks, yours too utz.
I've made a little vid of my entry, it's here:

Wow !
Lots of amazing beeper tracks !!
I really have no idea who is behind the tracks this year.
Many thanks for your comments utz and for letting me use Transporter too. I think it fits in with the album great.
Seems to be going down very well, particularly the .TAP version
Hi Guys
Been a long time in production but I've finally released my new 1-bit Album 'ON and OFF'
https://tufty1.bandcamp.com/album/on-and-off
The .TAP file is also here:
No probs, I've sorted it now. I was using v0.29 rather than v0.30
Very impressive tune
Hi Shiru
I can't get the tune to load into 1tracker, it errors.
I've copied the squatm.1te into the engines folder, is there anything else to do ?
Cheers utz, yeah I spent a few weeks on this one polishing. Still not happy with the simple drums so I might lower the bd value so not quite as prominent or add a few more zap infills.
I don't like to include too much percussion as I prefer the overall sound to be more electronic music than chiptune, if that's possible with a beeper tune.
There are a couple of notes that sound a bit off on real hw too but fine on emulator so I'll tweak those.
I will only release the real hw recording as I still remember mister beeps words of wisdom. I often think it's cheating releasing recordings from emulators.
Yeah I saw that comment about thinking it was being played on a Russian clone. Very odd
Hi
I've just uploaded my new tune Spectronica (part 2) to youtube.
Written using Bintracker and utz's Pytha engine
Hi Guys
I've uploaded a new version of my 1-bit Mechanistic album.
EQ'd slightly less harsh, title track elongated and 4 extra tracks.
All recorded from a 48k Speccy except the last 2 tracks which are recorded from a Spectrum Next (48k mode).
There's a new CD available too.
Cheers guys.
Utz - the Tufty™ style ? lol
Next one will be a dark metal wtbeep track
New spectrum game 'Superhair' just released with my beeper music.
Superhair vs Tron
I used phaser 3 as usual
Anyone seen this?
A much improved savage engine, cleaner with no clicks etc.
https://df-design.itch.io/down-the-pipe
Game available to download now, including an mp3 of the 1-bit music
Down The Pipe wacky new zx spectrum game released
Features 2 of my 1-bit tunes and available to buy on tape
Hi utz
Just tried the aczidbox tune again. Amazing. Notice it doesn't respond to keypress ?
A friend has nearly finished his space shooter game and this would be a great intro tune if the keypress was enabled.
cheers
Cheers Vinny.
Always great to enter the DiHalt beeper compo.
The scores are in. Well done utz on the win. Great track. Liked your tracks too Shiru. Good number of entries for beeper.
Amazing as always utz
Just came across this on YT
Oh wow, love it utz.
A new beeper sound again
Wow sounds great.
Could've done with this when I was writing some jingles for my new game recently. I ended up using a qchan game over jingle which took 720 bytes and a few huby jingles (a few hundred bytes each).
So will the file size be halved once channel 3 & 4 data is removed (plus the engine) ?
