Topic: Understanding Computer Sound. ZX Spectrum (youtube)

I've just found this. I'm watching it now:

Another episode of Understanding Computer Sound. We dig into the details of square waves produced by the Z80 CPU and Ferranti ULA chip, and find out fascinating things... we also show a few great demos by masters of the chiptune and demoscene. For many more details details, see the accompanying article: http://forgottencomputer.com/retro/sound/

(sorry wrong topic, it should go to the Sinclair part, of course...)

Re: Understanding Computer Sound. ZX Spectrum (youtube)

I remember seeing that article before somewhere. Like the video, too, very detailed and thorough, just like the article. I'd have some small complaints about some of the more in-depth bits on code and such, but overall it's very solid.

This article has just hit hack-a-day --- might go a bit viral for a day or two.

Heh, nice. Well, the video surely deserves more than the ~20 views it had yesterday.
