Topic: HT2 Houston Track 2

Hi folks, i am a newbie on ht2 and after installing the stuff on my TI 83 with help from mastermind utz, i have some problems to get further ... does any of you have a good video tutorial? I read the manual but for me its not so easy to follow the steps. I come from nanoloop and lsdj on the gameboy.
Big thanks forward

if you know LSDJ, HT2 shouldn't be too complicated for you.

Re: HT2 Houston Track 2

Hello, now i made my first steps on the ht2 put in notes and make some pattern. I saved it and made more pattern with other collumns as the ones above. As i wanna hear that and start play some notes have now a pitch. Can you tell me why?

Re: HT2 Houston Track 2

Not sure I understand the question, but have you filled all 4 positions on the current row of the sequence? If you have gaps in the sequence, like this:

00 01 -- --
02 -- -- --

there will be random notes and effects.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but I think if you hear some extra "unexpected" noise it's because you have some empty columns, if I remember well it's better to allocate patterns to every column, even if it's empty patterns (instead of nothing).

(edit: I think we answered at the same time with Utz)

Re: HT2 Houston Track 2

I am a bit unsure how to name the new patterns before i put in some notes. I place them in all 4 slots.
From lsdj i know, if i place a new pattern by double tap a, the program will check that i always make a new pattern to avoid issues. Wich rules must i follow to avoid any problems?

click on + :

http://irrlichtproject.de/houston/manual.html

[+]     PUT NEXT FREE     Put the next unused free pattern in sequence at the current position.

you have plenty of patterns, you can decide one for just filling the gap, like 50 for example.
