Topic: Retro Heist - Beeper tune

A little intro tune I wrote for a new game called Retro Robbins MicroBlitz

I only had around 900 bytes so was limited to which engine I could use.
I thought I'd try buzzkik which is a great engine, I'll definitely use it again.

So Lee gave you only 900 bytes, but then had room for a speech sample scratches head. Well done though, mate wink

Re: Retro Heist - Beeper tune

Hehe, yeah the speech sample is actually half way through loading and loaded over by the main game smile

Re: Retro Heist - Beeper tune

Normally intro speech samples located in the temp game buffers (like, off-screen buffer), so it is an one-off deal, while the music plays every time in the main menu.

Re: Retro Heist - Beeper tune

Yeah my intro tune uses the game buffer area so it’s a one time play.

I wanted some speech too so decided to load it before the loading screen is displayed
