Wow, this is a great idea

Unfortunately the midi convertor .exe doesn't seem to work on Windows 64bit so I couldn't try it out

Here are some midi files I was going to have a go at converting if anyone else wants to try (I think some of them could sound pretty good, particularly FOFT)

ed: A small issue - you might want to restore HL' on exit (original zx16 misses this, too).

I made a Beepolyator - converter from midi format to zx16 beeper. It has many options, you can set an induvidual sound for each midi instruments.
